Family seeking help in death: Young mother’s body found near Martinsville

MORGAN COUNTY The body of a 28-year-old woman from Brown County was found in rural Morgan County earlier this month and her family is asking for anyone who knows what happened to her to come forward.
At around 1:30 a.m. Dec. 11, Meredith Miller’s body was found near the Henderson Ford Boat Ramp off Henderson Ford Road in rural Martinsville. A deputy with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office checking the area found her. She was wearing a shirt, pants and socks, but no shoes.
Initially, police could not identify Miller. A photo of a rose tattoo on the inside of her right forearm circulated on social media and TV news. Three days later, on Dec. 14, police announced that the body had been identified and family had been notified.

MORGAN COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) Investigators say a woman found dead near a boat ramp in Morgan County was not a homicide victim.
The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office has been investigating the death of 28-year-old Meredith Miller of Morgantown since Dec. 11.
Her body was found near the Henderson Ford Boat Ramp around 1:30 a.m. by a deputy who was checking the area.
Investigators initially could not identify her and released photos of her tattoo to help learn her name.
On Wednesday morning, investigators announced that an autopsy conducted by the Morgan County Coroner’s Office found that Miller was not murdered. Her toxicology results are pending.

MARTINSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help identifying a woman found dead in the area of a boat ramp early Friday morning.
A deputy checking the area found the body at the Henderson Ford Boat Ramp around 1:30 a.m. Friday, according to Morgan County Sheriff Richard Myers.
The victim is described as a white woman with brown hair who is between 25 and 35 years old, according to Myers. It’s estimated she’s anywhere from 5-feet-2 to 5-feet-6 tall. She was found wearing a gray shirt, blue pants and gray socks.
The victim also has a nose piercing and a rose tattoo on the inside of her right forearm, Myers said.

Police say 28-year-old Meredith Ellen Miller of Morgantown was found at approximately 1:30 a.m. near the Henderson Ford Boat Ramp on Henderson Ford Road.
According to the Morgan County Coroner, Meredith s death was not a homicide. Police say toxicology results are pending.
Police would like to hear from anyone that has had contact with Meredith Miller recently.
