Hood are safe from the mountain but sadly someone who fell 7,000 feet yesterday has died. Its more than 11,200 feet high, notorious for its treacherous conditions in warm weather, thousands climb it each year. Hena doba is here in new york with more. Hena, good morning. While one climber was airlifted to a hospital and died the others are safely off the mountain after a complicated rescue and falling rock and ice. A half dozen climbers stranded on oregons mt. Hood since yesterday afternoon have been rescued and brought to safety. A seventh, though, seen receiving cpr from fellow climbers died at the hospital. Official

Suspect nikolas cruz told police he tried to escape by blending in with other students, fleeing his attack. This morning hes being held without bail under suicide watch.
