The ink was barely dry on Gov. Charlie Baker’s announcement making teacher’s eligible for COVID-19 when a group of Marblehead parents sprang into action.
Ashley Triscuit said she figured out early on that she was really good at booking appointments for people. She had already navigated the COVID-19 vaccination sites during Baker’s Phase 1 rollout, booking appointments for family members, then friends.
Then she began hearing stories, a school aide who only had a flip phone and no computer who was struggling to make an appointment. Her daughter’s bus driver whose old computer couldn’t keep up with the speed required by the vaccine sites.
