I’ve never been the mum who wills over school holidays and looks forward to the kids returning to get out from under my feet.
I’m the mum who counts down morosely trying to work out why the breaks happen at speed and before I know it summers are over, Easters go in a flash and all the half terms have been blink and I nearly missed them!
I love having my children home and even after lockdown number one I felt sad that our bubble of family life was to be punctured in favour of school. I missed them greatly after that first return.

waves have come in rain has we went out to the bridge and come in waves. deliver fuel, we had to drive 2 the waves obviously picking up miles an hour with power lines as the wind moves closer and as the wind gets stronger. i saw one person, they had come down everywhere. the wind still wanted to push us down to the beach. off the bridge. it s giving us rain, wind. they took a video of the water. they said the video doesn t do the storm has gotten better, but it justice. these waves are angry. it s still very intense, that s a really good way to describe it. they re crashing here, getting especially the people that are trapped and isolated and don t bigger. you can see them breaking have cell service like i m further and further back as the fortunate to have. wind picks up. shepard: i feel for them. on the other side of this jetty, sam teicher from freeport on grand bahama. there s people that don t see this as a concern. best of luck to you and good there s surfers over here. luck
