HELENA â In conjunction with the Carroll College Special Olympics club, the Helena Halos are in their first year of existence. The team was built to bridge the gap between youth Special Olympics and adult Special Olympics. The Halos feature plenty of decorated Special Olympians from the ages of 18 to 23.
Though this is the first year for the Halos, itâs not the first for any of these athletes. Last year s cancellation took a toll on them, but athletes like Gracie Gribbons and Kyle Norman are happy to be back with their new team.
