As Kansas casts Electoral College votes, officials noncommittal on Donald Trump challenges - News - Cherokee County News Advocate

Monday Dec 14, 2020 at 1:47 PM Kansas formally cast its six Electoral College votes for President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence on Monday, with little drama during the quick meeting in the Kansas House chamber. Normally a mere formality, the Electoral College votes in other states are tension-filled in 2020 as Trump and his supporters maintain, without evidence, widespread voter fraud in key swing states. Trump has failed in virtually all of his legal challenges to the election. That isn’t the case in Kansas, which Trump won by roughly 200,000 votes. Most of the proceedings Monday involved the state’s six electors signing a raft of official resolutions documenting the results.
