Bracknell: homeless people vaccinated against coronavirus

Berkshire Primary Care Outreach Health Team HOMELESS residents in Bracknell have been offered the coronavirus vaccine at a clinic recently. The Berkshire Primary Care Outreach Healthcare team ran a Coronavirus vaccination clinic for the homeless at St Andrews Church, Priestwood, vaccinating homeless and outreach patients alongside the Pilgrim hearts Trust session (PHT). The PHT is a local charity that provides access to a GP, nurse or healthcare assistant for homeless and outreach residents of Bracknell. Elaine Chalmer-Brown, Director for Pilgrim Hearts Trust, said: “Working with Dr Natasha Price, Helen Snowden and their team, assisted by the Bracknell Forest Council Rough Sleeper team and our volunteers, we were able to use the Pilgrim Hearts drop-in to enable the vaccination of many rough sleepers and vulnerable people.
