Sadie Bush WATERBURY – Mrs. Sadie Bush, 75, of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 6th, 2021 at Saint Mary’s Hospital, less than a week after her daughter, Cynthia passed. Sadie was born in Greenville, N.C., on February 10, 1946, the daughter of the late Wren and Helen (Ebron) Locke. Sadie was raised in the Greenville area where she attended local schools. Once settling in the Waterbury area, Sadie opened her first beauty salon, Fashionette Beauty Salon, and then later the Total Essence Beauty Salon, where she spent many years working alongside her family as a hair stylist. Sadie was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved to be surrounded by her family. She also was known as the adopted mother to hundreds of people throughout the area, since she had such a kind and loving nature and everyone wanted her to be their Mom.
