Creating Creative Community in a Pandemic
Creativity coach Helen Klebesadel provides top tips on the creative life.
This is a strange time for everyone and an especially strange time for creatives, who may suddenly have more time on their hands but who may also be finding themselves too distracted and off-balance to create. On top of that, isolation, alienation, and loneliness are affecting us all. In today’s post, creativity coach Helen Klebesadel helps us think about how creatives can create community in the middle of a pandemic.
Marquette-Atwood Art Walk
5:00 PM Marquette & Atwood neighborhoods
April 20, 2021
marquette-atwoodartwalk.com
The Marquette-Atwood Art Walk is back, live and (mostly) in-person. More important than getting your steps in, you can get your art in. While 2020 was for some a productive year for output, it wasn t tops in fairs, sales, open studios, gallery nights or the like. This neighborhood walk offers artists the chance to showcase their work in situ, though there may be more front yards and garages this year than in-studio setups, as the Walk will follow public health orders. Some artists will be virtual only. There are well known names like Laura Meddaugh, Helen Klebesadel and Leah Evans, plus many more you may be meeting for the first time.
