The Cincinnati Youth Choir, Young Naperville Singers and the Allegro Choirs of Kansas City will travel across the country this summer to present Songs from the Heartland: Youth Supporting UNICEF USA on June 13 at 7:30 p.m. at National Presbyterian Church.
Members of Bella Voce, Canto Vivo and Bella Cantare, the three most advanced choirs of Young Naperville Singers, returned from a visit to Germany, Switzerland and Italy on June 22. The choirs sang to rave reviews during their 10-day tour.
Helen Grubbs was seeking for a missing piece in her life when she decided to form the Young Naperville Singers in 1984, a group that lives on despite her death in 1993 and will celebrate 40 years next year.
On Sunday, Dec. 18, the Young Naperville Singers presents "Frost and Fire," its 39th series of winter concert celebrations, at the Neuqua Valley High School auditorium.
