She was a daughter of the late Vincent A. and Helen Gentile.
She was a graduate of Nativity BVM High School, Class of 1978. She also graduated in 1980 from Central Penn College with a degree in accounting. While at Central Penn College, she did an internship at Central Pennsylvania Heart Association in Harrisburg, as a bookkeeper. She also received a degree in computers from Schuylkill Institute of Business and Technology in 2001.
She was formerly employed at Bon-Ton, Union Bank and Trust Co. and retired from Ariela-Alpha International.
Barbaraâs hobbies included walking, reading and collecting key chains.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by grandparents, aunts, uncles and a nephew, David.
