They can, says the Supreme Court, much to the anger of the president. Those were the results of two separate rulings today from the highest court in the us. They mean that prosecutors can have access to the president s financial records, including his tax returns. But the documents which will go to a grand jury in new york will not be made public. A request for access by congressional committees was referred back to a lower court.
