It was actually about two different groups, one from berkeley, another one from oakland and they met for a while. Injustice in massive protests. Im ann notarangelo. Brian hackney is off. The protestors are part of the nationwide day of demonstrations known as millions march. Chopper 5 is tracking a large crowd in oakland. They are at telegraph and west grand. Our joe vazquez has been following them all day and says they have been mostly peaceful and its things like broken windows that have protestors worried the message is being drowned out. Joe . The overwhelming majority of whom have a peaceful message they want it to remain peaceful but there are things going on that are distracting and rude.
