The city is set to raise the general mill levy by 4 mills, but city commissioners hope to further lower that increase prior to approving its final budget in September.
Delorme will be responsible for the management of accounting, debt/treasury, utility billing, budgeting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll and investments of West Fargo.
The committee will recommend a candidate to fill the vacant finance director position at the West Fargo City Commission meeting next week after interviewing three finalists.
