The historic Tulpehocken Territory is celebrating 300 years since 15 German families arrived with special activities, including self-guided tours of pre-1800 congregational churches and cemeteries in the region.
In 1732, a group of 15 families, originally from what is now Germany, made the journey from New York to the Tulpehocken Creek area of Berks and Lebanon counties.
