Arkansas murder-suicide: MOM, 31, killed her three daughters, aged 7, 10, and 12, and her own mother, 61, before turning the gun on herself on Christmas Day
Officials said Jaquita Chase, 31, shot her mother Patricia Patrick, 61, and her three children then turned the gun on herself on Christmas Day
Her three children were: Abigail Heflin, 12; Levenah Countryman, 10; and Danielle Collins, seven
The murder-suicide took place Friday in Atkins, Arkansas and police are still investigating to determine a motive
Chase has been arrested several times for drugs and theft, however, none of those incidents involved weapons or violence
In 2018 a judge gave Chase s mother Patrick guardianship of the children saying Chase was an unfit mother
All five of the female family members were found dead at home in Atkins, AR
They were discovered dead on Christmas Day, and at least some were shot
Two of the dead were women: Jacquita Chase, 31, and Patricia Patrick, 61
The younger victims were three girls and were ages 7, 10, and 12
Police have not confirmed who is responsible for the deaths or a motive
