The Greensboro Police Department first issued a report of an incident around 4:45 p.m. at the Sheetz at 3202 Sandy Ridge Road near Colfax just west of Greensboro.
A Greensboro police officer was shot and killed Saturday in Colfax. According to officials, the off-duty sergeant was shot after intervening in a crime that was taking place at a Sheetz on Sandy Ridge Road. Three suspects have now been arrested.
