TOWAMENCIN — Two residents were displaced when a garage fire spread to cause damage to a home in the 2600 block of Hedrick Road in Towamencin on Monday. No injuries were reported.  The fire was called in around 11:45 a.m. by a homeowner right on our border with Skippack and Worcester, according to Towamencin Fire Company Public Information Officer Dean Miller.  A homeowner at that residence called in that he had noticed smoke in the attached garage of his two-and-a-half story home, and was alone at the time and was able to evacuate safely, according to Miller.  The crews arrived there and found significant fire in the garage area, and made an attack through the garage, Miller said.
