One man is facing a number of charges relating to weapons, break and enter tools, and drugs following a traffic stop Tuesday morning.
Around nine o’clock, Patrol officers saw a suspicious Ford F-150 in the 100 block of Hedley Street and conducted a traffic stop. Police allege a loaded, imitation firearm, a knife, crystal meth, and pipes were found inside the vehicle. Officers also allege finding a catalytic converter, saws, grinders, cutters, and other instruments relating to break and enters, and theft. The 40 year old driver was arrested without incident.
The Saskatoon man is charged with two counts of Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, two of Carry a Concealed Weapon, Possession of Break and Enter Tools, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Breach of Conditions. More charges are pending.
