Fans of the annual Great Lakes Logging & Heavy Equipment Expo will only have to wait a few more months. The event is scheduled this year at the U.P. State Fairgrounds from September 9-11. The event was originally planned for 2020, but was canceled due to the pandemic. Above is Ron Beauchamp, owner of Woodland Equipment, at the 2019 expo the last year it was held in Escanaba.

ESCANABA The Delta County Chamber of Commerce is partnering with various organizations to provide the community with 14 events in 2021.
The Chamber will revisit the year the organization was formed during its Roaring 20s Fundraising Gala at the Island Resort and Casino sponsored by OSF Health Care on May 22. The fundraiser will include an evening of fine dining, live auctions, instant prizes, and live music from the band, Passion. Heading into summer, the Chamber will host its Annual Golf Outing at the Highland Golf Course on June 3.
