LASD/ MANILA BULLETIN
Maria Loida Tice, a resident of Los Angeles County, was last seen on Saturday, February 13, between 11:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. on the Heaton Flat trail toward the summit of Iron Mountain in the unincorporated Angels Crest area of the national forest, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD).
The Iron Mountain is known as one of the toughest hikes in the San Gabriel Mountains of the Angeles National Forest.
LASD described Tice as a 5’4”, 130-pound woman with shoulder-length brown hair and wears glasses. Her last worn clothing is unknown.
Some reports, however, believed Tice may have been wearing black tights, a black puffer vest, a light lavender shirt and a green crewneck. It is also believed that she is carrying hiking poles and a backpack.
