Reporter tonight officials tell us the child made threats of violence sometime over the weekend. The threats were told were directed towards the Pembroke Community middle school. We just got word of this within the last half an hour. In that time we contacted the interim superintendent of schools. She will not confirm whether this student is male or female, we do know police are investigating this situation. The superintendent telling us the student is not suspended at this time. Were continuing to make calls and well update you as soon as we have more information. Im ted daniel, fox 25 news. Armed with a knife, a suspect storms into a local store demanding money but he left within seconds when he discovered that the clerk had a weapon of her own. New at 10 00 tonight were hearing that that clerk who scared off that suspect had a very big knife
Farmers market. There may have been a second tornado. This time in the steadman community. Residents told us he did see the twister on the ground at about 3 pm. The high winds uprooted trees and downed power lines. It was a disaster. It was the shed that went down. We traveled to let 16 lexington county. You can see there are no walls at this point there used to be for big poles holding up the structure and only one of the poles remains. The other part of this wall is completely crushing this car under here. This truck over here at the roof is on the ground. Theres a lot of destruction out here on this one property but luckily everyone made it out okay. It didnt touch the buildings where the employees were. The National Weather service will send a crew to that area tomorrow to determine if the damage was caused by tornado. We are still seeing some rain moving through the thunder storms are along the coa
Today to take closer look at the damage. And good morning midlands. We still do have rain that is moving through the midland. Really late in the parts of central and central calhoun, and some sprinkles and far southeastern sumter county. Outside of that, so more rain is coming out of georgia. Not out of the woods yet, and we are dealing with milder temperatures. And 56 degrees in the head off to school, and hour by hour, we will be dealing with the showers and temperatures that will actually start to drop. 56degrees by 10 00, 55 by lunchtime and as we get into the lunchtime, 53 degrees.
