TAUNTON bus drivers are preparing to pay a town centre tribute to a popular colleague who has died suddenly. They are decking their buses in black ribbons tomorrow (Tuesday) as a mark of respect for Chris Hodgson. Several friends are expected to line up along the route after 3.30pm as the hearse carrying his coffin is driven up North Street, past The Market House and on to Taunton Deane Crematorium for his funeral. Chris, 49, who was previously a traffic warden in the town, died in his sleep at home in the Priorswood area just days after suffering a heart attack.
