Wicked Local
The talk in town for many weeks has been about when the public schools will reopen for in-person classes. But families and teachers are not the only ones eager for answers.
Wellesley s seniors are looking for answers, too. Like many building around town, the Tolles Parsons senior center has been closed throughout the pandemic, leaving many who counted on it to connect them with friends and activities feeling isolated.
In the latest newsletter, the Council on Aging team announced that a reopening plan is in the works. Similar to the schools, reopening is a strategic and slow re-entry and transition to in-person activities at the Tolles Parsons Center, according to the announcement. The plan s success is contingent on conditions related to COVID-19 and approval by the Health Department.
