Former University of Calgary president Elizabeth Cannon has been named the winner in the lifetime achievement category of the 2021 Calgary Influential Women in Business Awards.
Cannon, who has received more than 80 awards and five honorary degrees over the years, also sits on a number of non-profit and corporate boards, often serving as a mentor in female-founded companies. She, along with five other award recipients, will be honoured during a livestreamed awards gala on June 16.
