CHATHAM, Va. — Virginia State Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash that occurred shortly before 8 a.m. today on U.S. 29 near Heath Mulch and Stone Supply.
CHATHAM, Va. â Heath Landscaping has served Pittsylvania County for 22 years, but hardscape design and irrigation installations alone weren t enough for owner Jerry Heath of Chatham. Monday, Heath opened a bulk landscaping supply storefront on Highway 29 at Tightsqueeze. He s owned this land right here a long time, brother-in-law Lesley Shelton said as he motioned to the storefront, which sits on an expansive lot across from Perkins Tire. He was undecided what to do with it, but he s finally decided to put a business in here. If he gets tired of this landscaping, he s got something else he can step back to.
