A Heart Mountain Academy graduate and a Cody High school student were critically injured in a rollover vehicle crash near Newton Lake last Thursday.
Park County PD said the investigation revealed that the vehicle was driving westbound on County Road 7WC, approximately one hundred eighty (180) feet before the intersection with the Shooting Complex Road.
It appeared that the passenger side tires went off the west side of the roadway, twice. The second time, the driver over corrected and crossed the entire roadway to the east side. Skid marks were observed spanning one hundred forty-seven (147) feet across the roadway.
