Registration for Girls on the Run of Berks Countyâs spring season is open.
Berks and Schuylkill county girls in third through fifth grades can register for Girls on the Run. A program for older girls, Heart & Sole, is open to those in sixth through eighth grades.
The eight weekly sessions of both programs teach girls life skills and fitness lessons that will last a lifetime.

The programs are held at area schools as well as at an expanding roster of community sites such as the YMCA of Reading and Berks and the Wyomissing Playground. We are so excited for spring and grateful for the school and community sites hosting teams for our spring 2021 season,â Tania Hollos, program coordinator, said in a news release. âThese new partnerships with parks and recreation sites in Berks and Schuylkill counties create the opportunity for us to serve more girls now and in the future.
