BACKGROUND:
MDOT plans to rebuild I-696 between I-275 and Lahser Road, as well as replace the Pebble Creek and Rouge River bridges and perform preventive maintenance on 10 bridges within the project limits.
Attendees will be able to join the virtual meeting to hear more about the project plans, ask questions, and provide feedback.
Public input is being sought to help MDOT recognize and address any concerns that may result from the project. FLINT, MI The state is considering changes to a one-way split of M-21 in the city, a decades-old division designed to help carry auto worker traffic in and out of the city decades ago.
The Michigan Department of Transportation plans to discuss alternatives during a virtual meeting next week that will focus on the area of M-21 where one-way traffic is in place from where Court and Fifth streets meet near the White Horse Tavern to the east of I-475.

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is inviting the public to attend a virtual public meeting discussing upcoming improvements along westbound US-10 in Bay County, including the proposed addition of two roundabouts at the US-10/Mackinaw Road interchange west of Bay City. The meeting will be held at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 13 using Microsoft Teams.

FLINT, MI The city has floated one idea for a massive redesign of Interstate 475 in the downtown Flint area, and the Michigan Department of Transportation has scheduled a virtual public meeting this week to discuss its broader plans for upcoming improvements.
A 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17 meeting concerns “upcoming improvements along the I-475 corridor in Genesee County, including the projected financial investment in the corridor and potential design plans,” MDOT said in a news release.
