Buffalo, NY – Hickory Woods homeowners staged a protest outside of City Hall Friday afternoon demanding that Buffalo Mayor Anthony Masiello relocate them from the subdivision. Rich Ammerman, president of the Hickory Woods Homeowners Association, says one year ago, the Common Council voted to assist in relocating residents and nothing has happened. There s ample evidence to show that there s toxins in the properties in Hickory Woods, Ammerman said. Homes never should have been built there. People need to be moved out.
