There were fiery exchanges in the Dáil today between the Healy Raes and Labour’s Duncan Smith, after the Kerry TDs accused the party of trying to stay “relevant” with its motion for a national aggressive suppression strategy.
Michael and Danny Healy-Rae accused the Labour party of walking “in the political wilderness” and of not representing workers.
Deputy Smith fired back in a passionate, scathing attack, saying that he grew up “trying to put food on the table” in Finglas and did not come from “millions and millions” or “drive a Mercedes”.
