Most of these bills are aimed at helping low-income New Mexicans and their families. But legislative leaders are failing to take into account the impact this bundle of bills would have on businesses of all sizes – and recognize that punishing businesses punishes New Mexico’s recovery. A broken economy impacts all New Mexicans, regardless of their income level.
