We built 2,000. These are folks that are making below 50 percent. What we have learned from this current production, which has been unprecedented in our city is Housing Production alone isnt working to prevent the displacement of our resident or assuring the affordable for everyone. In the largest construction boom that we have seen as stated by john ram, were learning without policy making the result is we are not building housing for everyone. District six is ground zero for new development and were at risk at becoming a district and city that is building housing that is unaffordable for san franciscans. Were trying to have market payment when we go out of line. Its one we have been reaching in district 6. Keep in mind, a Regional Housing goal is 60 percent. 60 percent should be built for those making between zero and 120 percent ami. Our legislation is proposing a floor. We would like to see a floor that meets our production which is 30 percent. These are the four main goals of the

One important point to note and cigarettes give only 11 the Natural Foods can be 30 to 40 so there is an incentive to be more profitable and have more incentives and in tune to carrying these Healthy Foods and thank you very much and i am available for questions. City and i am grateful to speak to you briefly. I am speaking to you as a doctor and we were working with residents around issues they identified and the number two issue number one was crime. Number two was access to Healthy Foods. They couldnt buy Healthy Foods in the local stores. They were very upset about this. We were able to do little things. We brought in minimarkets from the farmers markets once in a while but we couldnt do much. We got stores to stop selling dixie cups of alcohol at 9 00 oclock in the morning for 25cents but we couldnt get them to sell Healthy Foods and this new proposition is a game changeer and as you mentioned supervisor mar there is evidence based. There is evidence in philadelphia and more importantly the evidence in bay view Hunters Point and i have seen the various groups working there with the city in that neighborhood. I know it can happen in the tenderloin and that in turn will set a precedent for the city and the state and the country. Thank you ve
