they are supportive of what i did fighting it. we killed the public option and we almost killed the whole bill. and so i m going to continue to make sure the lawsuit continues that is going on and then put every effort i can into making sure the bill gets repealed. work with our congressman and senators to make sure it gets repealed. it s horrible for jobs, it s horrible for patients. we know it s going to kill jobs. in this state we care about how we get our economy going back. you know, everywhere i travel, whether it s convenience stores, anywhere, people say, rick, how are we going to get this state back to work? they like my plan, my 7 steps to 700,000 jobs over 7 years. it makes sense, it s what you would do with your business or household. watch how you spend your money. get rid of regulations that didn t work, have a governor that cares about jobs. megyn: this is obviously what your opponent will throw at you and your republican opponent brought it up. the company you ran and m
priorities changing their priorities, they are only going to go after the more serious criminals, what have you. decisions like that have to happen all the time. these are people who are actually in the pipeline for deportation, and they are just being let go. this is much more harmful. it s disspiriting to the immigration agents, and it sends a message to the illegal immigrants themselves that they are off the hook. as long as the only crimes they are committing are identity theft and illegal entry in the united states, and perjury in getting a job, because those are all federal crimes that most illegals commit, but as long as that s the only felonies they are committing on not other felonies then they are off the hook, that s the message that is being sent. megyn: is this an end around the law. to grant amnesty as we saw in the 80s you had to get congress and the approval of the american people. that s one of the things that some have been pushing for with respect to comprehensive
megyn: basically, greg if you ve got you ve captured these illegals, there is a deportation case pending and what they now say is as long as you re not a criminal, essentially you re going to get a free pass, you re going to get released with a, see you soon ticket, that s it. reporter: correct, with one proviso, you have to have had an application pending to remain here in the united states. megyn: in other words, rather than provide them with the hearing or trial at which we would normally determine whether they deserve to have that application granted, we re just going to skip that and give it to them. reporter: well, they seem to say, well no this is an adjudication, that s what they were telling me, but boy, listen lawyers who are in ice, who are angry about this say no this is the cancellation and dropping of a bunch of cases setting people free that might not otherwise go free. megyn: yeah. this is a stunning turn around based on what they told you and you reported yesterd
megyn: then there is a problem. i want to ask quickly, mark, what do you think this does to the morale of the ice agents who spend all their time and effort arresting these people only for them to get a free pass. it clearly undermines. this is one more reason you saw many of the ice agents through their union vote no confidence in their politically owe pointed management. megyn: the man who authored this memo john morton who we have issued a daily invitation to come on the show and we have received a daily rejection. mr. morton if you have the guts to come on and face some 0 tough questioning i m here. thank you, gentlemen, both i appreciate your time. thank you. thank you. megyn: we ve got breaking news at the top of this hour saying some troops serving overseas may not get a chance to vote in the upcoming midterm elections. we re going to talk with one representative from one of these states this hour about why it just cannot seem to get the ballots out on time to help the mil
jon: i m going to be looking upwards. america live is right now. megyn: hi, everybody i m megyn kelly. we ve got it. the memorandum mow the top brass at the immigration and customs enforcement did not want you to see, directing agents and attorneys to dismiss thousands of pending deportation cases. these are people already in custody. this prioritizing or amnesty? and no liberty and justice for all, at least according to the state department. it is ripping on human rights in america. and sending its complaints to the united nations. now the u.n. is going to tell us how we need to be a better country. plus,. there is obama, senator reid and speaker pelosi, they are destroying the american dream for the next generation. megyn: the republican nominee from florida a tea party
