Census so weve incurred some savings there and we also have some savings from our delays in hiring. I wanted to point this out because this is something thats come up at a couple of the last commissioner meetings and its also come up extensively in our meetings with our Nursing Union as weve talked about their contract. We have despite the salary savings, that is not coming from our inability to fill our clinical positions, although that is a very serious issue for us. We have about 80 nursing positions at San Francisco general that are unfilled and we are working overtime to fill those positions, however, from a financial perspective we are back filling those shifts with per diem and registry, so thats not whats driving these savings. Its the units below census and the other positions we are having trouble back filling, which are things like our information technology, weve had a hard time hiring there, clerical positions, interpreters, etc. I want to point that out in particular beca

Public comment. Anyone that would like to make a comment on anything that is not on todays ago ahead agenda. Public comment is closed. We have one. Gordon angle and we voend a property for 150 years and my family has lived in and around San Francisco for almost 200 years, as far as we know we are the longest standing Property Owners and currently my 88yearold grandmother is the deed owner and i hope it to be mine and i hope to pass it to my son. I began managing the building in mid 2010 and i came aware of major issues with the building and as well as the tenants and i immediately started working to plan a complete remodel of the building and i began looking for investors for an up scale lounge for the first floor and this space had previously been two units one a dive bar and a pointer shop, considering the depressed economy on the 400 and 500 blocks of brod kay, i knew that if we were going to be successful any tenants would have to attract a different dem graphic of customer than mo

Chinese develop die diabetes so china has a huge epidemic of diabetes so theyre at higher risk and i think thats an important thing to point out because somebody might not be obese, but are at a higher risk. Thats not reflected in a document at this point. We are going to come back with an action plan, but we have detailed work in that specific area. Yes. My only other critique which is sort of my usual editorial thing is that if youre going to have a document that says what works in partners and strategies, maybe you want to keep the same format for all your points because it seems to vary depending on which section were looking at. Well fix that. I would like to add on behalf of our dean here, colleges and universities do include usf and other organizations that have Health Programs so that [inaudible] is correct, but i ensure we want to take advantage of i know the outreach you assess is tough. Because that could be an added resource. I ae gree. Agree. Lastly. The other added resour

Access, it is eleven Nonprofit Community healthcare, and more than 10 percent of the citys population, and i am here today to support this legislation and illustrate why it is needed because coverage california is not affordable for the many san franciscans who currently enrolled in the healthy San Francisco coverage but eligible for coverage california. Last fall i had the pleasure to train, 115 staff from the department of Public Health on how to enroll people in the coverage california, many have been working with the clinics and the population since the Program Began in 2007 and they know these patients very well, they were so excited to learn about the program and the prospect of helping people enroll. And well, when we got to the part of the training about the cost of the premiums, the cost of the copays and the cost of the deductibles their eyes got very wide. And mouths dropped open, and coverage california is significantly more expensive than the healthy San Francisco program.
