PUTRAJAYA (Jan 20): Two business premises on Jalan Masjid India, Kuala Lumpur, were found to provide accommodation for foreign workers they employed without any accommodation certificates.
The Human Resources Ministry informed that in the operation carried out by the Covid-19 Health Screening Programme Special Task Force (TF-PSKC19) on Monday it was also found that the employers have not made any application to obtain the certificates of accommodation.
Besides, the Ministry in a statement today said the two premises involved were detected committing several other offences under Act 446 such as overcrowded space and poor ventilation.
“An investigation paper has been opened to enable legal action to be taken against the owners of the two premises,” according to the statement.
