RICHLAND COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD / REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING (4/15/21)

The Board : approved the monthly bill listing for March worth $1,144,436 and noted that the state currently owes the District $468,265 : approved the tentative FY21 budget : approved the Health/Life Safety Amendment for the RCHS roof project : approved the $106,926 bid for the roof project to Joiner Sheet Metal & Roofing : approved the District’s five-year maintenance plan : noted a few upcoming dates – RCHS graduation will be Sunday afternoon, May 30th, at 3:00 – final day of student attendance will be Thursday, June 3rd – the Service Awards Program will be Friday, June 4th, in Veterans Hall, with breakfast and recognition – the final day of school with a Teacher’s Institute is Friday, June 4th : set a special board meeting for Thursday, April 29th, at 7:00, to seat the newly elected board

CUSD #3 BOE regular meeting held Dec 16 in Cuba Elementary Library

Canton Daily Ledger CUBA The Board of Education of Community Unit School District #3, Fulton County, held their regular meeting Dec. 16, in the Cuba Elementary Library. President Sue McCance called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. with Mr. Corsaw, Mrs. Davis(Via Zoom), Mrs. Deakin, Mrs. McCance, Mrs. Wilson(Via Zoom) and Mr. Wallace answering the roll call. President McCance led the Board in the Pledge of Allegiance. Under communications, Mrs. Simmons-Kenser shared attendance reports from both buildings. Under the Principal’s report, Mr. Braun announced the senior of the Month for December is Emma Utsinger. The Middle School Star Students for October are Ava Huston-sixth grade; Macy Eeten, seventh grade and Cooper Hedden, eighth grade.
