SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (Capitol News Illinois) - Democrats in the General Assembly on Tuesday approved a wide-ranging measure aimed at shoring up Illinois'.
A state appellate court ruled Thursday that it will not block enforcement of the Pritzker administration s mandate that certain categories of public employees either be vaccinated against COVID-19 or undergo regular testing. That means state employees like teachers and nursing home workers could be required to abide by the vaccine or testing mandate, if school districts or government agencies decided to make them.
