fundraising numbers as well. do you have any new information to share about how well you have done with fundraising? well, we certainly haven t raised $24 million. have you raised 2 million? 3 million? well, i m not going to get into it until we pull the numbers together. but the bottom line is for a small campaign like us from a, you know, colorado s about 6 million or a little less than 6 million people, it s harder to raise money because we don t we re not promising free healthcare or, you know, to forgive free tuition for everyone, forgive student debt. we re trying to present a picture of this country and what it can be in the future that will resonate with everyone. and that has, you know, that s a harder a heard vehicle by which to get small donors. governor, it sounds like you re describing two of the policy proposal the elimination of student debt and free healthcare, it sounds like you re describing them as pie in the sky ideas. yeah, i think they d be very
sarah, two quick questions for you. you talked about the president s big policy initiatives, that will be how history judges him. obviously so far he has none that have made it through the legislative process on capitol hill. that s not true. neil gorsuch went through a legislative process. that s a big historical moment. something that has a lasting legacy, probably far beyond most any other individual piece of legislation is how the courts can shape and determine a lot of different things, and i think you ll see that in justice gorsuch. to finish that first question then, when you talk about policy initiatives, like health care or, for example, tax reform that have not been completed, at least not yet on capitol hill, the lack of support from somebody like bob corker might make that a lot more difficult. given that, does the president feel like he s winning? i think he feels like america s winning. i think if you look at some of the progress that s taken place in the first ni
