on the field, it s not part of the rules of the game that you throw the referee off the field. but republicans say the cbo arrived at their numbers through accounting gimmickry and said they didn t take certain things in respect with respect to the timeline of when different parts of the health care law kick in and the g.o.p. maintains the health care law must be repealed. this thing is a huge budget buster. so what they have is a piece of paper that they manipulated to say this thing reduces the deficit. i will eat my tie if that is the outcome of this law. something else the g.o.p. maintains is that when they vote on this wednesday, it will be a straight forward repeal with one exception. an amendment by republican jim matisen from utah to maintain the doc fix in the bill. he s aiming from helping the reimbursements to go way down from treating the elderly.
