Eligible Missourians can register to receive the COVID-19 vaccine this week in Lafayette County.
Health Care Collaborative of Rural Missouri will be hosting a drive-thru event from 1 to 7 p.m. on Monday, April 5 and Wednesday, April 7 at the Odessa Outlet Mall. This will be the first shot of the Moderna vaccine. The second shot will be a month later at the same time and location and you will receive a vaccination card with the date on it.
After receiving the vaccine, you will be required to wait 15 minutes after the shot to be observed to make sure there are no adverse reactions.

The Department of Health and Senior Services has compiled a comprehensive list of COVID-19 testing sites throughout the state. Please call the site you wish to visit before visiting the hospital or testing location to determine testing eligibility. Many sites still require a physician order or evaluation before testing is approved.
