St. Joseph’s Health announced
Dr. Thomas J. Welch II has been hired by the St. Joseph’s Health Cardiovascular Institute in East Syracuse.
Dr. Welch earned his doctor of medicine degree from the
University of Virginia in Charlottesville and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the
University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He completed a residency at the University of Virginia. He previosly was a fellow at the
University of Rochester focusing on complex coronary intervention and structural heart interventions.
Dr. Welch is board certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine. He specializes in interventional cardiology and is an active member of the American College of Cardiology.
