A community leader has raised concerns about ambulance cover after an elderly woman was left lying on a busy road for more than three hours.
The lady fell on the edge of the pavement in Haywood Street, Leek, near the pedestrian crossing. Several members of the public came to her aid by calling the ambulance service and trying to keep her warm.
