Breaking news in the alexandria section of Fairfax County. Police are still on the shooting that happened shortly after 8 30 this morning. Police believes it stems from a burglary attempt at this home on le noer lane. The gun involved belongs to a resident of the home. Police say they now have that weapon. The man who was shot ran from the house where he tried to get on a bus. A Police Officer responding to the burglary calls spotted the blood and stopped the man from boarding that bus.
