Ysgol y Bedol has been removed from the list of schools requiring review AN AMMAN Valley primary school has shown enough improvement to be removed from monitoring by Estyn. Ysgol y Bedol has “made sufficient progress” to be taken off the list of schools requiring review and there will be no further monitoring, according to the schools inspectorate for Wales. An October 2018 inspection had found all aspects at the Garnant school to be “adequate and needing improvement.” The school was placed into monitoring which involved working on the recommendations set and holding regular meetings with an improvement panel to discuss and review the progress made in each recommendation.
