Another line of canned cocktails is on local liquor store shelves, San Antonio, and these use real liquor to pack their punch. The name Dogfish Head may be most recognizable for their line of beers, but the Delaware-based brand has low-key been distilling full proof spirits for nearly 20 years. Their new line of canned cocktails uses real spirits not wine or malt liquor and is available for purchase in SA this week.
Best known for off-centered ales, Dogfish Head has also pioneered craft distilled spirits for nearly two decades. Now, they are rolling out Canned Cocktails from coast-to-coast.
Milton, Del. – One of America’s earliest craft distilleries, Dogfish Head Distilling Co. announces the coast-to-coast launch of its scratch-made, ready-to-drink Canned Cocktails. The distillery’s lineup of Canned Cocktails includes three off-centered recipes –Blueberry Shrub Vodka Soda, Strawberry & Honeyberry Vodka Lemonade and Cherry Bergamot Whiskey Sour. Each recipe was crafted using Dogfish Head Distilling Co.’s house-made spirits combined with all-natural, high-quality culinary ingredients to create a liquid masterpiece that tastes as if it was poured straight from a bartender’s shaker tin. Dogfish Head Distilling Co.’s scratch-made Canned Cocktails begin hitting shelves in 4pk/355ml slim cans this week.
Delaware Business Now
Dogfish Head Distilling Co. is jumping into the cocktail business.
The distillery’s lineup of canned cocktails includes three recipes – Blueberry Shrub Vodka Soda, Strawberry & Honeyberry Vodka Lemonade, and Cherry Bergamot Whiskey Sour.
Each recipe uses Dogfish Head Distilling Co.’s house-made spirits combined with culinary ingredients.
The cocktails will be available this week on local shelves.
To go, cocktails have taken off during the pandemic, with Delaware and other states loosening laws in allowing another source of revenue for the hospitality industry.
According to a release, Dogfish Head Distilling Co. staff spent hundreds of hours honing its Canned Cocktail recipe.
