I didn’t know Lee High School football coach Clint Hartman before the fall.
I knew he had success on the field with the Rebels and didn’t mind speaking his mind from time to time.
“I’ve never been one not to be honest,” Hartman told me this week. “You either like me or you don’t.”
But it wasn’t until a late September “Meet the Rebels” event that I got my chance to figure out on which side of the fence I would exist. That is when he took the microphone, addressed the significant Lee contingent and offered his opinion about the Lee name controversy.
