Fairfield Public School District 112 held their regularly scheduled May session on Monday Evening in the board room at Center Street School. At that meeting, three new board members were appointed seats to fulfill partial terms until 2025: Jamie Jones, Erica Burris, and Brandon Berghaus In the superintendent report, under revenue and expenses, the district has received 87% of funds and expended 83% of funds of the FY 23 budget. For food service, the district purchased a new refrigerator for Center Street and a dishwasher. North Side purchased a cold serving station for vegetables and a cash register station so we can move to a system similar to Center Street where students can enter a pin number. In Transportation, a new bus will be delivered in June. The bus has all parts and it is ready for inspection and delivery.
