there s a huge game going on. nobody expected this to succeed. the head of the house ways and means committee, republican from michigan, introduced it, because he wanted it to fail. and i was intended to try to demonstrate that the democrats aren t serious about deficit reduction. everybody is in on the game, except you apparently. chamber of commerce they know it is a big joke. they say wall street in on the joke. wall street knows it is a joke. the vote took place after the closing bell. sean: president asked for it, democrats asked for it. they got their vote and the vote failed. here s the problem this game you re talking about is putting debt on every single american to the tune of tens of thousands of dollars that they ve got to pay back in the course of their working life. the game doesn t seem funny to me. democrats if they can t vote for the president s plan. they can t vote for a clean bill, what is their plan? let me quote bill kreupb ton:
but square the living daylights and distort what the republican plan is. i think you saw from the voters, up in new york state they don t like the republican plan. the republican plan would cause the promise of medicare to our seniors to disappear. sean: that is not true. secondly the republicans right now on the budget they voted for, they called for trillions in increased borrowing over the next 10 years. here they are saying, we are going to have a vote right now and no increase the debt ceiling. that s hypocrisy. sean: when they had that image of paul ryan pushing granny over the cliff that s politics. sean: you just say the same thing. you said old people are not going to be taken care of. the ryan plan, everybody that is 55 and older gets the exact same plan they have. sean that argument is so tired it is sputtering and won t get down the road. americans know you are going

not the next two hours of my speech responding to that pie or that insult. i would return to the things think that want to talk about. i have, i think said this a couple of ways. i ll say it again. i am not going to permit myself to be distracted by this issue any longer. are you saying no to that question? why don t you let me do the answers and you do the questions? sean: question was, did you send it? if i gave a speech to 45,000 people i think a distraction. he sounds guilty and uncomfortable. we should be in favor of a weiner probe. sean: yes, i think so. i m going to get back to the business of the american people. why can t he say no and move on. he did when the story first broke he came out and said he wasn t [ talking over each other ] are you on facebook?
