A PROPERTY developer has bought a 14-acre site in Lostock with plans to build 214 new homes. Bellway have acquired the plot at the former Hercules Business Park site on Lostock Lane and infrastructure is already underway. Planning permission was granted for the site in March 2020. Known as Hazel Fold, the development will feature a selection of new build homes, including one and two bedroom apartments as well as three and four bedroom semi-detached and detached homes. Infrastructure has already started on site, with building of the homes due to commence imminently. Bellway will officially launch the development in late February, releasing for sale the first few homes, followed by the opening of two show homes in the Summer.

The housebuilder has acquired a 14-acre former business park site on Lostock Lane for the development of 214 homes.
Previously home to Hercules Business Park, the site will be redeveloped as Hazel Fold, a project including one and two bedroom apartments as well as three and four bedroom semi-detached and detached houses.
Infrastructure works have already started on site, with build of the homes due to officially start in February, with show homes to be opened this summer.
